1.7% increase in national dwelling values, making this the fifth consecutive month of growth.

First month on month rise in dwelling value for Perth since the downturn took a pause in 2018. In the past 13 years Perth prices have dropped from being the most expensive of the capital cities, to now being among the cheapest.

Rents are sluggish, unchanged in November and only 0.4% higher over the last 12 months. Softer rental conditions as a result of the increased amount of investment activity over the last 7 years, and many first home buyers transitioning from renters to first time buyers.
